Posting guidelines

This message board is a non-judgmental place mostly—though not exclusively—for victims and survivors of childhood sexual abuse. Our hope is that in telling your story—either privately to us or publicly on this message board—you can begin or continue to heal.

While we don't want to discourage this message board's use by having a lot of rules, there are some guidelines designed to protect both you and the Child Sexual Abuse Prevention Network. Your intended post will be reviewed by CSAPN to ensure appropriate content before it is posted.

Please follow these simple guidelines.

Discuss your situation only.
Do not provide personal contact information. We assume no liability for personal information received in intended posts.
In telling your story, avoid specifics that could identify someone.
Discriminatory remarks, vulgar language or crude references may prevent postings.
Do not post links.
Suicide notes cannot be posted. If you are feeling suicidal, please talk to a professional health-care provider.

Posting does not constitute an endorsement by the CSAPN and we reserve the right to disallow any intended posting we feel is inappropriate or not in keeping with the purpose of this message board.
